Not buying what Regier is selling

Darcy Regier is "disappointed" that Brian Campbell has broken off negotiations? This would be the same Brian Campbell who has been asking to re-sign since October and, not getting a satisfactory response from the team, is now out of patience.

Read another way: Regier has played it so that now he must shake his head and complain about being "forced to consider a trade" and what a shame it is that Campbell is not cooperating.

In other words, the Sabres have blown it with another player and Regier thinks he can shift the blame.

Not buying it, mister.
