Not going in 2014 is a mistake

Gary Bettman explained in a recent interview with Reuters, that he might not allow NHLers to play in the 2014 Olympics in Russia.

He is taking away the pride and joy of many players who go to represent their countries and show who is the best in the world.

Without this they have no way of proving themselves and their country. If Bettman was smart he might use the Olympics in 2014 as leverage to force the Russians into signing a release agreement with the IIHF and the NHL.

Bettman has but one choice. Choose the right one.
