Oilers aim for another win during six-game homestand

Nashville (21-24-3) at Edmonton (25-20-3), 2:00 p.m. EST

EDMONTON, Alberta (Ticker) -- The Edmonton Oilers seek their

second straight win as they continue a six-game homestand

against the struggling Nashville Predators on Sunday.

Edmonton eased the pain of a 10-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres on

Tuesday as defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky scored a power-play goal

early in the second period en route to a 3-1 victory over the

Minnesota Wild on Friday.

Dwayne Roloson made 28 saves and Andrew Cogliano collected two

assists, while Ales Hemsky and captain Ethan Moreau also scored

for the Oilers, who bounced back from their worst home loss in

franchise history.

Edmonton concludes its stretch at home on Tuesday against the

Chicago Blackhawks and then embarks on a three-game road trip.

The Predators, who are coming off a 3-1 loss to the Calgary

Flames on Friday, are 2-8-1 on the road since a 6-3 setback

against the St. Louis Blues on December 8.

Nashville has also dropped four of its last five.
