Oilers look to end skid against Bruins

Boston (3-2-3) at Edmonton (4-3-0), 9:00 p.m. EDT

EDMONTON, Alberta (Ticker) -- The Edmonton Oilers have come back

down to earth after a fast start to the season.

Edmonton hopes to snap a three-game losing streak when it hosts

the Boston Bruins on Monday.

The Oilers were off to their first 4-0-0 start since they won

their first five games during the 1985-86 campaign.

But after winning the first four games all by one goal, Edmonton

has been outscored, 13-4, during its skid. The Oilers lost,

6-3, to the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday.

Boston snapped its three-game losing streak on Saturday as Milan

Lucic scored a hat trick in a 5-4 victory over Atlanta. Lucic

netted the game-winner with 1:41 remaining.

Center Marc Savard leads Boston with 11 points and recorded two

assists in Saturday's triumph. He had gone scoreless in his

previous three games.

It will be the Bruins' first visit to Edmonton since the club

won, 5-4, in overtime on December 3, 2005.
