The Hockey News Hits 10 Million Monthly Page Views, With Women's Hockey A Growing Contributor

Since 1947, The Hockey News has been considered the Bible of Hockey.

It still is, with our industry-leading magazine. But in the past year, we’ve evolved our online entity to include 32 NHL team sites, 13 theme sites and an entire archive of thousands of past issues on top of our main news and opinion site.

Combined, The Hockey News' sites now produce 100 stories every day. And, thanks to your support, we are proud to say we have reached more than 10 million pageviews in the month of May and are on track for more than 100 million pageviews annually.

Whether you are a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins, the PWHL or a prospect league like the USHL — or just want to read up on collectibles and eSports — we’ve got something for you. We even have a reporter and a site in Utah. Our women's hockey coverage spans from the PWHL, to the NCAA, Europe, and in depth prospect coverage.

Our staff of writers includes more than 75 reporters providing daily coverage. We have reporters in every PWHL and NHL city asking questions and breaking news. We have women’s hockey reporters, junior hockey reporters and a European-based international reporter.

In addition to our written coverage, The Hockey News recently launched The Wraparound, an online show where hosts will provide bite-sized comments on some big-time topics during the rest of the playoffs and off-season.

    This is just the beginning.

The Hockey News this year had reporters at the first Walter Cup final, Battle on Bay Street, Duel At The Top, the PWHL Showcase at NHL All-Star Weekend, the IIHF women's World Championships, and we'll have reporters at the PWHL Draft and Awards show. And with free agency just around the corner, The Hockey News is the place to be for all the news and coverage.
