Ottawa Senators sign defenceman Chris Campoli to one-year contract

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators re-signed defenceman Chris Campoli to a US$1.4-million, one-year contract Friday.

He had four goals and 14 assists in 67 games for the Senators last season. Campoli added two assists in six playoff games.

Campoli, 25, was selected with the 227th overall pick in the 2004 NHL entry draft by the New York Islanders.

He has 114 points (29-85) in 320 career NHL regular season games with the Islanders and Senators.
