Ottawa Senators sign forward Mark Parrish to one-year, two-way deal

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators signed Mark Parrish to a one-year, two-way contract Friday worth US$650,000.

Parrish, 34, went scoreless in two games last season with the Buffalo Sabres.

He had 17 goals and 34 assists in 56 games with the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League.

The five-foot-11, 199-pound forward has 216 goals and 171 assists in 722 career games with Florida, the New York Islanders, Los Angeles, Dallas, Tampa Bay and Buffalo.
