Panthers buy out final year of defenceman Ville Koistinen's contract

SUNRISE, Fla. - The Florida Panthers bought out the final year on defenceman Ville Koistinen's contract Wednesday, the latest move in new general manager Dale Tallon's reshaping of the roster.

Koistinen appeared in 17 games with the Panthers last season.

He had one goal, three assists and eight penalty minutes.
