NEW YORK, N.Y. - Martin St. Louis has another chance to knock off Pavel Datsyuk and win the Lady Byng Trophy as the NHL's most gentlemanly player.

The two players were announced as finalists for the award Wednesday along with Brad Richards of the Dallas Stars. Voting was conducted by members of the Professional Hockey Writers Association at the end of the regular season.

Datsyuk has won the Lady Byng four straight times, edging St. Louis the past three seasons.

The Detroit Red Wings star is bidding to become the first player ever to win the award in five consecutive years. Datsyuk led Detroit in scoring with 70 points while racking up just 18 penalty minutes.

He'll also be up for the Selke Trophy at the NHL awards show in Las Vegas on June 23.

St. Louis had a strong season, posting 94 points for the Lightning. His 12 penalty minutes were the fewest among the League's top-50 scorers and the fewest among the 88 players who appeared in all 82 games.

Richards won the Lady Byng Trophy in 2004 and was a runner-up to Datsyuk in 2006. He finished seventh in league scoring with 91 points and was assessed only 14 penalty minutes while averaging more than 20 minutes of ice time per game.
