Pavel Datsyuk shows why he's the 'Magic Man' with beautiful second period tally

Pavel Datsyuk missed more than half of the Red Wings' final 15 games, but he's not showing any rust in Game 1 of Detroit's first-round series against the Tampa Bay Lightning. After scoring on a nice deflection in the first period, Datsyuk started the second frame with a beautiful goal.

Pavel Datsyuk didn't suit up for eight of the Red Wings' final 15 games of the regular season, but if the veteran sniper is feeling any rust, he certainly isn't showing it.

After Datsyuk put Detroit on the board midway through the first period with an outstanding deflection, it didn't take long before Tampa Bay equalized to send Game 1 of the first-round series between the clubs to the first intermission as a 1-1 tie. It didn't take long for Datsyuk to break that tie once the second period started, though, and of course, in typical 'Magic Man' fashion, the goal was gorgeous:

Someone should have warned Braydon Coburn that it's never a wise move to over commit on any deke by Datsyuk, because Coburn's wave of his stick at Datsyuk's feet didn't amount to much.

If the move on Coburn wasn't gorgeous enough, the ridiculous wrister by Datsyuk that shot out of the net faster than it went in should leave your jaw hanging. It looked effortless, just as so many of Datsyuk's highlight-reel moves have before.
