Pearson should have been renamed Lindsay-Harvey Award

Hart Stoffman, Lake Echo, N.S.

I love the sentiment behind renaming the Lester B. Pearson Award after Ted Lindsay, but it only goes halfway.

I would like to say that no one did as much for players past and present as "Terrible Ted," but that is simple not the case.

If we're going to rename it, it should be the Lindsay-Harvey Award.

Doug Harvey was as integral to the improved treatment of NHL players as Ted Lindsay was. And I believe Lindsay would be the first to suggest this.
