Penguins centre Sidney Crosby leads Eastern Conference all-star voting

Crosby has received 401,365 votes while Buffalo Sabres goaltender Ryan Miller is second with 253,024.

The NHL says approximately 12 million votes have been cast in total through its website. Fans will choose six Eastern Conference all-stars and six Western Conference all-stars: three forwards, two defencemen and one goaltender for each team.

Crosby leads forwards while Penguins teammate Evgeni Malkin is second (217,146) and Daniel Briere of the Sabres third (214,295).

Bryan McCabe of the Toronto Maple Leafs is tops among defenceman (245,976) while Brian Campbell of the Sabres is second (242,852).

Miller leads all Eastern Conference goaltenders.

Updated Western Conference balloting results will be released on Wednesday.
