Peter Forsberg included on Sweden's potential Olympic team list

Injury-plagued star Peter Forsberg returned to the ice Thursday night, joining his Swedish team Modo for a pre-season game in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland.

"The real feeling with the puck is not there," Forsberg told reporters in Switzerland. "You need a couple of games to get into it."

The 36-year-old was held off the scoresheet. However, on Friday, Forsberg was included on Sweden’s 69-man list of players to be considered for the Vancouver Olympics in February.

A chronic foot injury has prevented Forsberg from making a comeback to the NHL. His last appearance came at the end of the 2007-08 season when he potted 14 points in nine games for Colorado and followed it up with five points in seven playoff games.
