Phoenix Coyotes recall Porter, Hoggan from AHL; put Winnik on injured list

GLENDALE, Ariz. - The Phoenix Coyotes recalled forwards Kevin Porter and Jeff Hoggan from their AHL affiliate in San Antonio on Sunday and put forward Daniel Winnik on the injured list.

Winnik was injured in Saturday night's 3-2 win over Los Angeles. He has two goals and 10 assists in 39 games this season. The Coyotes say Winnik has an upper-body injury but did not release any details.

Porter leads San Antonio in scoring with 10 goals and 14 assists in 28 games. He won the Hobey Baker Award as U.S. college hockey's top player in 2008 while at Michigan and was a fourth-round draft pick of Phoenix in 2004.
