Phoenix Coyotes return Jared Staal and three others to junior teams

GLENDALE, Ariz. - Forward Jared Staal was one of three players re-assigned to junior by the Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday.

The 19-year-old is the younger brother of Eric (Carolina), Marc (N.Y. Rangers) and Jordan (Pittsburgh), and wasn't expected to crack his team's lineup this season. He was drafted 49th overall in 2008, and returns to Sudbury of the Ontario Hockey League.

Also headed back to their junior teams are defencemen Mathieu Brodeur (Cape Breton, QMJHL) and Michael Stone (Calgary, WHL).
