The NHL announced yesterday that Wild forward Ryan Hartman has been suspended for three games.

ST. PAUL - The NHL announced yesterday that Wild forward Ryan Hartman has been suspended three games for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Hartman, 29, was suspended by the NHL after his unsportsmanlike play that happened in the Wild's game against the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday.

After the game had concluded, Hartman came back on the bench and threw his stick in the direction of one of the referee's on the ice. The NHL Player Safety reviewed it and gave Hartman a three game suspension.

That was Hartman's fourth career suspension.

There is only nine games left in the season for the Wild and they will be without Hartman for three of them. Back eight points in a playoff race, this hurts the Wild a bit.
