The Hockey News

The Hockey News

Adam and Boomer are back at the XM Radio studios in Toronto for another playoff edition of THN Radio. In the first segment of the show, the guys discuss the tragic death of Rangers tough guy Derek Boogaard, the tensions that can come with the life of a hockey enforcer, and what can be done to better support players off the ice.

In the second block, San Jose Sharks analyst and former NHLer Jamie Baker calls in to discuss the Sharks Western Conference final performance against the Vancouver Canucks, the future of that franchise if they fail in their goal of winning a Stanley Cup this season, and what it was like to play for the Quebec Nordiques before they relocated to Denver.

In the final block, the Ask Adam mailbag is put on hold when the guys get a surprise call from former Devils great and Stanley Cup winner Bobby Holik, who weighs in on the legacy of players and teams that don't win it all, and the impending move of the Atlanta Thrashers to Winnipeg.
