    HAMILTON - Paul Postma broke a third-period tie Tuesday as the Chicago Wolves beat the Hamilton Bulldogs 5-3 in the American Hockey League.

    Spencer Machacek, Angelo Esposito, Michael Davies and Mike Siklenka had the other goals for Chicago (18-15-3). Nigel Dawes and Darren Haydar picked up two assists apiece.

    Dustin Boyd scored three times in a losing effort for Hamilton (19-10-5).

    Postma cracked a 3-3 deadlock 9:29 into third with a power-play goal past Bulldogs netminder Robert Mayer.

    Siklenka then made it 5-3 for Chicago, one timing a shot on the power play from the top of the left faceoff circle at 12:10.

    Peter Mannino made 23 saves for Chicago to pick up the win. Curtis Sanford allowed the first Wolves goal before being replaced by Mayer, who finished with 21 saves.
