Predators D Ryan Suter sustains lower-body injury against Flames

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nashville Predators defenceman Ryan Suter has left the game against the Calgary Flames with a lower-body injury.

He was injured at the 2:05 mark of the first period Tuesday night when he collided with Calgary defenceman Cory Sarich in front of the Nashville bench. He immediately went off the ice to the locker room.

The team announced that the U.S. Olympian would not return to the game.
