Predators scratched defenceman Hal Gill from Game 3 with lower body injury against Red Wings

DETROIT - The Nashville Predators scratched defenceman Hal Gill from the lineup in Game 3 against the Detroit Red Wings.

Gill was out for a third straight game on Sunday because of a lower body injury. He hasn't played since blocking a shot on April 5 against Dallas.

Detroit defenceman Ian White was healthy enough to play after injuring his left in Game 2.

The Predators made some changes for the first game in Detroit. They replaced forward Matt Halischuk with Jordin Tootoo and played defenceman Ryan Ellis in place of Jack Hillen.
