Predators sign goaltender Pekka Rinne after trading away Tomas Vokoun

Rinne, 24, who signed a two-year contract, spent last season with Milwaukee of the American Hockey League. Vokoun was traded on Friday, a few hours before the NHL draft. Chris Mason is expected to take over as the Predators' top goalie next season.

The Predators also said Monday they traded minor league forward Brandon Segal to the Anaheim Ducks for future considerations.
