Proteau's Blog: Alex the Rad here to stay

• Whenever Jason Arnott comes back from his knee injury, it's highly unlikely the Predators will be returning Alexander Radulov to the American League. Radulov is tied for third in rookie scoring with seven goals this season, but here's the impressive part: he's done it in just 13 games. Everyone either tied with him or ahead of him has played at least 21 games.

• The gruesome injury suffered last week by Jamie Heward – his face was sliced up for around 100 stitches after Mike Modano's skate blade ran across it – has not convinced the Capitals blueliner to permanently don a visor. Some people never learn.

Despite all his troubles in Toronto and despite a fan base that was willing to cast him off because of a poor performance in two games last year, Tellqvist was never anything less than a gentleman with the media. You certainly can't say that about every guy whose career hit the skids with the Maple Leafs.
