Providence centre David Krejci named AHL player of the week

Krejci recorded four goals and four assists in four games last week as the Bruins went 3-0-0-1.

A second-round pick by the parent Boston Bruins in the 2004 NHL draft, Krejci is tied for first among all AHL rookies with 28 assists. The native of the Czech Republic is currently on an eight-game scoring streak (seven goal, eight assists).
