Put a cap on no-trade clauses
The whole speculation over the Dany Heatley trade/no trade fiasco has got me thinking: Why not have a limit on how much a player can make and still have a no-trade clause?
For example, make it so no-trade clauses are only available for players making less than $3 million dollars, that way, players have to choose whether they want stability financially, or if they want stability with their living arrangements.
This way, GMs don't get stuck in the same mess that is plaguing the Senators organization.
