Put Lucic on Team Canada

David Fanjoy, Burlington, Ont.

Like most people, I was shocked when I saw Milan Lucic's name on the orientation list for Team Canada. How he was chosen above Marc Savard and Jason Spezza baffled me.

But now that I have looked closer at Canada's potential lineup, it is clear that they need a player like Lucic.

Canada has very few physical forwards. They have many big, strong players, but many of those players lack aggressiveness and energy.

Putting Lucic in as a 13th forward with a small amount of ice time would be a great move as he would bring physicality, energy and nastiness to a lineup that greatly needs it.
