I hope we aren't seeing a trend here. First, Scott Niedermayer said he thought about retiring after winning the Cup with Anaheim. He decided to come back part way through the first half of the season. Now Selanne has changed his mind, too?

Which guy gets bumped down to the minors, traded, or sits in the press box? Is it fair for that player, who showed up from day one and has the bruises to show for it?

It's not as if either of these guys have a legitimate excuse like Mario Lemieux did.

I say enough. Quit waffling guys. Are you in or are you out?
