Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist has the flu, misses start against Hurricanes

NEW YORK, N.Y. - New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist will miss his scheduled start Tuesday night against the Carolina Hurricanes because of the flu.

Backup Martin Biron will be in goal against the Hurricanes.

Lundqvist has a record of 32-14-5 with a 1.88 goals-against average. Biron is 11-4-2 in 18 appearances with a 2.25 GAA.

The Rangers called up Chad Johnson from Connecticut of the AHL to back up Biron.
