Red Wings D Stuart leaves Game 4 versus Sharks with lower-body injury

DETROIT - Red Wings defenceman Brad Stuart left Game 4 against San Jose because of a lower body injury.

Stuart was checked into the boards by Sharks defenceman Rob Blake in the first period on Thursday night.

He had two goals and six points in Detroit's first 10 playoff games. Stuart, one of the team's hardest hitters, had a plus-6 rating to trail only teammate Henrik Zetterberg entering the game.
