DETROIT (Ticker) -- The Detroit Red Wings look to continue their

winning ways when they host the Dallas Stars on Thursday.

Detroit has won four straight - two by shutout - including

Tuesday's 3-0 blanking of Columbus.

Ty Conklin made 23 saves for his fourth shutout of the season,

all coming at Joe Louis Arena.

Dallas is 6-2-1 in its last eight games and is attempting to go

Stars defeated Vancouver, 3-2, on Sunday. Mike Modano had a

goal and an assist in the win.

Dallas, which was eliminated by Detroit in the Western

Conference finals last season, won the first meeting, 3-1, on

December 12.
