Report: Blackhawks close to signing Kane, Toews, Keith to long-term deals

According to Canadian sports network TSN's Bob McKenzie, the Chicago Blackhawks are close to inking Patrick Kane, Duncan Keith and captain Jonathan Toews to long-term extensions.

Kane and Toews, the report says, are expected to get five-year extensions worth around $6 million per season, with Kane's being worth a little more.

Keith's deal does not appear to be as imminent and much more complicated. The deal is believed to possibly be as long as 13 years, for less than what the two forwards are expected to receive.
