Report: NHL sets price tag for relocation of Coyotes

Jim Balsillie will have to contribute more cash if he is to move the Coyotes to Hamilton.

According to a report in the Toronto Star, the NHL has set a price tag of between $101 million and $195 million on relocating a franchise to southern Ontario.

One week ago Balsillie’s PSE Sports and Entertainment came to a conclusion in their own study that a relocation fee for the Coyotes would be between $11.2 million and $12.9 million.
