Reward good teams with high draft picks

Otis Geddes, Squamish, B.C.

The NHL has to change its way of drafting players.

Young superstars like Taylor Hall get drafted to teams that won't even make the playoffs. Yes, those last place teams are in need of something to help them win games, but I believe the teams that finish on top of the league should be rewarded.

Right now amazing young players are headed off to some last place team and if they don’t send their team to the playoffs the crowd blames it on them.

I think the NHL needs to get their heads in the game.
