Rick Nash, John-Michael Liles, Brian Rafalski named NHL's three stars of week

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Columbus Blue Jackets sniper Rick Nash, Colorado Avalanche defenceman John-Michael Liles and Detroit Red Wings blue-liner Brian Rafalski are the NHL's three stars of the week.

Nash scored a league-best six goals last week, including a pair of game-winners, as the Blue Jackets swept a three-game trip through California for the first time in franchise history.

Liles collected seven points (two goals, five assists) and a plus-5 rating last week as the Avalanche won four straight to take the Northwest Division lead.

Rafalski picked up seven assists in three games as the Red Wings earned five of six points to take over first place in the Western Conference standings.
