Every hockey-loving kid dreams of scoring the overtime goal in Game 7 to win the championship and on Monday night, Rimouski's Michael Joly achieved that dream.

The undrafted right winger, who was one of the Oceanic's top scorers in the post-season, made the last point count the most by popping in the series winner past Remparts goalie Zach Fucale in double overtime to clinch the President Cup. The last time Rimouski hoisted the trophy was in 2004-05, when the Oceanic was led by a young phenom named Sidney Crosby.

But back to the here and now, take a look at Joly's golden goal:

Pretty sweet. The Game 7 thriller was actually Rimouski's first home victory of the series, which was by far the most competitive of the three major junior finals. Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Adam Erne of the Remparts earned the Guy Lafleur Trophy as playoff MVP. The stocky winger put up an impressive 21 goals and 30 points in 22 games for Quebec.

The Remparts aren't done with the Oceanic yet, however. Since Quebec is hosting the Memorial Cup, the teams will clash at least once more this season, with continental bragging rights on the line.

The Memorial Cup begins this Friday, with Quebec facing off against the WHL champion Kelowna Rockets. Rimouski's first game comes the next day against the OHL-conquering Oshawa Generals.
