Ryan Russell scores two goals as Bulldogs defeat Moose 6-2
HAMILTON, Ont. - Ryan Russell scored two goals and Max Pacioretty had three assists as the Hamilton Bulldogs beat the Manitoba Moose 6-2 in American Hockey League action Wednesday.
The Bulldogs were especially dangerous on special teams with three power-play goals and one short-handed marker. Mike Glumac, Brock Trotter, Chad Anderson and Yanick Lehoux also scored for Hamilton (47-27-4-0).
Guillaume Desbiens and Pierre-Cedric Labrie replied for the Moose (49-23-0-6).
Marc Denis made 23 saves for Hamilton. Cory Schneider gave up five goals on 34 shots before being replaced by Curtis Sanford, who stooped eight of nine shots in relief.
