Sabres return home to face Maple Leafs

Toronto (19-23-9) at Buffalo (26-20-5), 7:30 pm EST

BUFFALO, New York (Ticker) -- After traveling all over the map

for nearly a month, the Buffalo Sabres finally get to return

home.

The Sabres will seek their fourth straight win at the HSBC Arena

on Wednesday, when they square off against the Toronto Maple

Leafs in a meeting of Northeast Division rivals.

Buffalo has not lost at home since December 30, but has not been

here much recently. The Sabres have played nine of 10 games on

the road, going 5-5-0 in that span.

In the finale of a season-long, six-game road trip, Buffalo

suffered a 3-2 loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Monday. Patrick

Kaleta and defenseman Craig Rivet both scored for the Sabres,

who split their first two meetings of the season with the Maple

Leafs.

Toronto is coming off Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Florida

Panthers.

Niklas Hagman, Alexei Ponikarovsky and Nik Antropov tallied for

the Maple Leafs, who have posted a 5-10-3 record since December

22.
