Sale of Montreal hockey tickets postponed due to network glitch

MONTREAL - The sale of Montreal hockey tickets online and by phone was postponed Saturday due to technical problems.

Disappointed hockey fans will have another chance next Wednesday when the site reopens at noon.

A network problem stopped Montreal Canadiens fans from being able to purchase tickets for individual games in the upcoming season.

Fans who showed up in person at the Montreal's Bell Centre were able to purchase tickets as usual.

Several thousand fans were affected by the networking glitch.
