WINNIPEG - Cory Schneider stopped 34 of 35 shots from the Worcester Sharks as the Manitoba Moose escaped with a 3-1 victory Tuesday night in AHL action.

With the Moose clinging to a tenuous one-goal lead, Schneider stonewalled the Sharks with 15 saves in the third period. Matt Pope scored to make it 3-1 with under five minutes remaining on one of Manitoba's five shots in the period.

Sergei Shirokov and Pierre-Cedric Labrie scored second-period goals for the Moose (31-26-6).

T.J. Trevelyan scored for Worcester on a power play five mintues into the first period, but it was the only time the Sharks (36-19-5) could beat Schneider.

Worcester netminder Alex Stalock made 16 saves.
