Scott Niedermayer scores in second OT as Ducks eliminate Canucks with 2-1 win

Niedermayer hit a slap shot that eluded Canucks goalie Roberto Luongo, who stopped 56 of 58 shots in defeat. "I just shot it on net and it found its way in," Niedermayer said. "Tonight we played pretty well, we came out and played our game."

The Ducks got on the scoreboard first on Samuel Pahlsson's first goal of the playoffs 14 seconds into the second period.

Alex Burrows tied it at 11:03 of the third to force overtime. Josh Green and Brandon Reid assisted on the goal, Burrows' first of the post-season.
