NEW YORK - Teemu Selanne's return to the Anaheim Ducks has the Stanley Cup champions looking ready to repeat.
The veteran winger was named the NHL's first star of the week Monday after scoring five goals and seven points during three Anaheim wins. The Ducks are 9-1 since Selanne returned to the team on Feb. 5 after considering retirement.
Calgary Flames goalie Miikka Kiprusoff was given the league's second star while New Jersey Devils netminder Martin Brodeur was named the third star.
Kiprusoff went 3-0-0 with a 0.67 goals-against average, .980 save percentage and one shutout last week.
Brodeur led the Devils to four straight victories. He had a 1.48 GAA and .947 save percentage.
