Senators assign left-winger Nick Foligno to Binghamton of AHL

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators assigned left-winger Nick Foligno to the club's American Hockey League in Binghamton, N.Y., on Tuesday.

A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Foligno was recalled by the Senators for the third time this season on Jan. 29. During his most recent recall, he scored once and added an assist while collecting four penalty minutes in six games.

In 37 games with Ottawa this season, he has six goals, three assists, 16 penalty minutes and a plus-1 rating.
