Senators continue road trip vs. Maple Leafs

Ottawa (13-17-5) at Toronto (15-17-6), 7:00 pm EST

TORONTO (Ticker) -- The Ottawa Senators will travel much closer

to home on Saturday but will continue their season-high

eight-game road swing against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

After losing on each of their first three stops on the trip, the

Senators rebounded with a 3-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers

on Tuesday.

Jason Spezza and captain Daniel Alfredsson each recorded a goal

and an assist for Ottawa, which has lost eight of its last 11

contests.

The Senators also will visit the New Jersey Devils, Buffalo

Sabres and Boston Bruins before returning home on January 10 to

host the New York Rangers.

The Maple Leafs have lost four of their last five games,

including Thursday's 4-1 setback to the Sabres.

Toronto likely will put Vesa Toskala back in the crease after

giving veteran Curtis Joseph two consecutive starts. Toskala is

13-12-5 with a 3.31 goals-against average and one shutout this

season.

However, Toskala has allowed 14 goals over his last three

contests - all losses.
