Senators forward McAmmond leaves game after taking Pronger's forearm to head

Senators officials say McAmmond suffered a head injury and will not return to the game.

McAmmond was skating into the Anaheim zone when he was hit by Pronger and knocked sliding into the end boards. He appeared to be out cold before being helped by teammates and a trainer to the dressing room.

No penalty was called on the play.

McAmmond scored the goal in the second period to give the Senators a 4-3 lead in the game.
