NY Rangers (24-15-4) at Ottawa (13-20-6), 7:00 pm EST

OTTAWA (Ticker) -- The Ottawa Senators hope a return home can

    help them end some woes.

The Senators will attempt to avoid a fifth consecutive loss when

they host the New York Rangers on Saturday.

Over its season-long, eight-game road trip, Ottawa posted a

1-6-1 record. Antoine Vermette and Chris Kelly each scored a

goal and set up another in Thursday's 6-4 loss to the Boston

    Bruins.

The Senators, who sit in 14th place in the Eastern Conference

standings, own a 9-6-3 mark at home this season.

The Rangers have lost six of their last eight contests but enter

this one a point behind the Philadelphia Flyers for the Atlantic

    Division lead.

Despite unleashing 44 shots Friday, New York suffered a 2-1

shootout loss to the Buffalo Sabres.
