DETROIT RED WINGS-Re-signed D Chris Chelios to a one-year contract and D Kyle Quincey to a two-year contract.

FLORIDA PANTHERS-Agreed to terms with D Keith Ballard on a six-year contract extension through the 2014-15 season.


JOHNSTOWN CHIEFS-Acquired the rights to F Matt Robinson and F Michael Lambert from Alaska for the rights to F Alexandre Imbeault.

LAS VEGAS WRANGLERS-Named Mike McBain assistant coach.
