Sergei Kostitsyn back on Habs roster for Game 2 against Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA - Sergei Kostitsyn is back in the Montreal Canadiens lineup, a week after he was kept home from a road trip to keep him from being a distraction.

Kostitsyn was in uniform for the warm-up ahead of Game 2 of the Canadiens' playoff series and was on the 20-man game roster to face the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night.

Benoit Pouliot, who has yet to score in 15 playoff games, was scratched.

Kostitsyn had missed the previous 10 games.

He was kept home from a road trip to Pittsburgh during the second round of playoffs after a verbal exchange with backup goalie Carey Price in the Canadiens dressing room after a game-day skate.

But he was reintegrated with the team at the end of that series.

Coach Jacques Martin has refused to discuss Kostitsyn's status with the team, calling it an internal matter.
