Sharks activate enforcer Jody Shelley from injured reserve, send two to minors

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Sharks activated forward Jody Shelley from injured reserve and reassigned forward Frazer McLaren and defenceman Jason Demers to the minors.

Shelley had missed 23 games with an injured hand before being activated to play Saturday night against Edmonton. Shelley has three points and 52 penalty minutes in 17 games this season.

McLaren and Demers were sent to Worcester of the American Hockey League. McLaren has six points in 23 games, while Demers has 15 points in 34 games.
