Sharks recall veteran Claude Lemieux from Worcester

Claude Lemieux is back in the NHL.

The veteran winger was recalled by the Sharks from their American League affiliate in Worcester Monday completing the comeback attempt by the 43-year-old.

Lemieux played 23 games for Worcester after starting the season with the China Sharks. The gritty vet had 11 points in his time in the American League.

Lemieux last saw NHL action with the Dallas Stars and Phoenix Coyotes in 2002-03 when he scored a combined eight goals and 23 points in 68 games.
