Sharks sign free agent forward Cam MacIntyre to an entry-level NHL contract

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Sharks have signed free-agent forward Cam MacIntyre to an entry-level contract.

The team announced the deal with the former Princeton player Monday. MacIntyre finished an injury plagued senior season with six goals and four assists in 10 games. In 87 career college games, MacIntyre had 29 goals and 31 assists.

Sharks general manager Doug Wilson describes MacIntyre, of Sooke, B.C., as a physical player who will bring "great leadership to our organization."
