There was no immediate word what the Bruins were giving up for Ward.

In 60 games this season, the 34-year-old has three goals and 10 assists with 57 minutes in penalties. In 612, career games with Detroit, Carolina and the Rangers, he's registered 34 goal and 78 assists with 558 penalty minutes.
